If there’s one Disney World planning tip we can give you, let it be this: expect the unexpected. From random ride closures to sudden downpours, you never know what could happen during your vacation.
While you may expect to see long lines for popular attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Flight of Passage, you may find yourself in a surprisingly long line from time to time. During a recent visit to the parks, we were shocked by the crowds at an unexpected location! Â
Remember how we said to expect the unexpected? On Memorial Day, the Disney parks were surprisingly quiet; we were shocked by the lack of crowds! Then, right AFTER Memorial Day, the crowds suddenly appeared! Now THAT is confusing!
Like we said, you just can’t predict the crowds anymore. Need more proof? Check out the unexpected line we found ourselves in at Disney’s Ticket and Transportation Center. One word: WOW.
Both the line for security AND the line to get on the monorail were extra busy! If you thought you wouldn’t see any long lines before you even entered the parks, think again.
Security is INCREDIBLY busy this morning at the Transportation and Ticket Center 😳 The only park that’s sold out today is EPCOT — think these people are taking the monorail over there for their Figment Annual Passholder Magnet? pic.twitter.com/A3BCPJMDte

Judging by those lines, you may expect to hear that the Disney parks are at capacity for the day. But interestingly, all park passes are still available for Disney World guests. We have a feeling that some of the crowds arrived for the new Figment Annual Passholder magnet in EPCOT.
Once we finally arrived at the Magic Kingdom, the lines followed us all the way to the park entrance. It looks like it’s going to be a busy day in Disney World, but we’re hoping that the crowds disperse once we get inside.
It’s times like this that remind us that some lines can form at unexpected locations! At Disney World, you can find lines for food, coffee, and security before you even step foot in the parks. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!

There’s been constant complaining about having to make park reservations that last few years, but it helps to prevent this from being a frequent occurrence. Just a reminder everyone, don’t complain when park reservations go away and crowds increase. Be careful what you ask for.
