Listen, going to Disney World is expensive. There’s no other way to put it. However, for many of us, it’s a non-negotiable.
That’s why we make it our life’s mission to find the CHEAPEST ways to have the most magical Disney vacation ever. That was a little bit dramatic, and it probably isn’t our whole life’s mission, but finding ways to make Disney World cheaper is one of the reasons why this blog exists, okay? Anyway, we did some digging and we found a way for you to save a lot of money in Disney World in 2024. Let’s talk about it!
Booking for 2024 Disney vacations recently opened, and we found the CHEAPEST week to visit Disney World in 2024! We already talked about the cheapest days to visit, but let’s face it — most people aren’t visiting for just one day. Most people want to stay a whole week!
Well, you can save quite a bit of money by purchasing 7-day tickets any time from August 20th through the 29th, 2024.
On these days, you can get a 7-day ticket with fares on individual days for as low as $76. Check it out! The total for a 7-day ticket within this time frame comes to $530.29 per person, not including tax.
Relatively speaking, most of August and September are showing cheaper dates compared to the rest of the year — in case that specific week doesn’t work for you. Toward the end of September, the prices start to increase a bit (probably because of the fall break season and Halloween quickly approaching!). Tickets for the same dates in 2023 are very similar in price.
August and September are generally less crowded in the parks as well as kids start to go back to school. This makes sense given the prices, since less demand typically means a lower cost for tickets. The lower crowds are probably due to a number of reasons — school is back in session, there aren’t as many holidays, and Florida experiences some miserably hot, muggy months.
However, for low crowds and cheaper tickets, it might all be worth it! What do you think?
We’ll continue to keep you updated with all the Disney news — ticket information included! Make sure to follow along for more.

People don’t like to go then because of the unbearable heat and humidity

I agree with Beautiful gorgeous. If you look at the prices for tickets, DVC reservations, or hotels, they are all cheaper when the weather is too hot or too cold for most people. Although, I don’t have a problem with January coming from Washington State and I’ve met a lot of folks from places like Minnesota at that time of year as well.

“Beautiful gorgeous” You are exactly right, I expected it to be mentioned in this article or hinted at. We went for the last week in Sept last year and it was an experience for us since we come from Colorado (no humidity). Here is a clip of what it was on Wednesday night of that week. Evening +86° feels like +99° Humidity 73%. We left at Midnight from Universal that night and we were sopping wet. Had to take a shower when we got back to our rooms and it didnt help much since you felt sticky forever. As long as you ready for that it was much cheaper to visit the parks during that time.

Going at this time is nice because of the Autumn decorations and Halloween festivities. I can’t take a lot of heat, however, and I also worry about Hurricane season that time of year. You don’t want to spend your vacation in your hotel room.
