4th of July Fireworks

The 4th of July is the major holiday of the month and Disney goes all out to celebrate! We’ve seen specialty treats and fun photo ops, but the most exciting addition is the exclusive fireworks show!

Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will have showings at 9:20PM on July 3rd and 4th. This will temporarily replace Happily Ever After, but don’t worry — it’ll be back on July 5th!

This is a super exclusive show, so be sure to catch it if you’re in Magic Kingdom!

An EXCLUSIVE Fireworks Show Is Returning to Disney World

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

As we say farewell to the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival on July 5th, it’s time to welcome in the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! The festival officially kicks off on July 27th, 2023 and runs until November 18th, 2023.

Here at DFB, Food & Wine is what we DO, so we look forward to it every year. Disney has yet to announce many details for the festival, but more details will be released as we get closer to starting date. In the meantime, read up on this year’s Food & Wine Festival with the posts below!

Tickets Open for Holiday Parties

Did you hear the news? Not only is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party set to return, but a brand new holiday party call Disney’s Jollywood Nights is coming to Hollywood Studios! So what do these parties have to do with July?!

Well, besides celebrating Christmas in July (if that’s your thing, we don’t judge!), tickets will go on sale for all guests on July 6th for both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney’s Jollywood Nights.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Changes

Fun Disney fact: While Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort opened with Magic Kingdom on October 1st, 1971, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort opened several years later. On June 28th, 2023, we get to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Grand Floridian!

Yes, the technical anniversary is in June, but there will be continuing construction at the hotel. We’ve seen it in the lobby and on the outside of the hotel.

Disney has not announced any specific celebrations for the iconic hotel’s big anniversary, but we’ll be on the lookout for anything special! The Grand Floridian is expected to receive a makeover to its lobby, and although we have seen construction around the hotel, it is set to be completed later on. No matter what, happy anniversary Grand Floridian!
