UPDATED November 20, 2024
A new holiday event made its debut in 2023 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Disney Jollywood Nights… and it is BACK FOR 2024! Disney Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event that is taking place on thirteen select nights from November 9th through December 21st, 2024.
As part of the event, guests can view the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime fireworks and projections spectacular, enjoy exclusive treats, meet OVER 20 rare characters, and more!
NEW in 2024: Several times throughout the event, Hollywood Boulevard is hosting a skating spectacular, Glisten, featuring international champion skaters set to holiday music!
Throughout the park, guests are able to experience unique music and entertainment inspired by different genres. On Commissary Lane, for example, guests can explore the lively Holiday Fiesta En La Calle, while Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host a live holiday special at Theater of the Stars with some other Disney special guests (like Princess Tiana and Belle). And Jack Skellington himself hosts a special sing-along themed to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at Hyperion Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and a DJ spins holiday tunes on Hollywood Boulevard.
Additionally, look out for two limited-capacity entertainment experiences happening during the event: The Hollywood Brown Derby transforms into Jazzy Holidays — a speakeasy-inspired jazz lounge (think singalong piano bar!) for which Advance Dining Reservations are strongly recommended; and The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard hosts the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, an “other-worldly soiree” with a ghostly band (the idea here is that Disney has recreated the Tip Top Club from the Tower of Terror lore)!
Look out for special holiday-themed Magic Shots and exclusive Disney PhotoPass experiences. Your ticket comes with complimentary digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos from the event.
And guests are encouraged to dress the part, as Disney shares that “Disney Jollywood Nights is brimming with red-carpet moments, Hollywood vibes, glimmering décor and fantastic photo ops—so you’re encouraged to don your holiday best!”
Guests also have access to select rides during the event:
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Toy Story Mania
- Star Tours – The Adventure Continues
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad
- Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Muppet Vision 3D
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (Standby line)
And, of course, specialty food and drink items are available for extra purchase. Check out ALL of our Jollywood Nights reviews here!
