Disney World Just Dropped a MAJOR Hint About a NEW Character Meet and Greet!

We normally don’t talk about Bruno, but we’re so excited right now that we have to.

A little back story: one of our FAVORITE parts about last year’s Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland was the opportunity to meet Bruno from Disney’s Encanto. We know that other Disney fans also appreciated this aspect of the event — after all, Bruno has inspired countless T-shirts, merchandise items, and even social media trends since the movie’s release in 2021. Well, if you’re a fan of Bruno, you’re gonna want to make like Dolores and listen up.

Disney is currently hosting an open casting call in attempt to find a character performer to portray Bruno at Disney World! This means that a Bruno meet-and-greet could be on its way to Disney World. Auditions are available by appointment only for select times on July 8th, 2023 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Facility.

Disney is looking for someone between 5’6″ and 5’9″ with an athletic build. Further, they wish for the character performer to have an “expressive, careful, and selfless personality.”

We’re SO excited about potentially meeting Bruno soon! We don’t know which park he will be in or whether or not the addition will be permanent or just for the holiday parties. While we hope this might be something that’ll stick around in the parks, Bruno could only be visiting for a little while for specially-ticketed events.
