Disney World bathrooms are actually quite a controversial topic.
The bathrooms at the Most Magical Place on Earth truly see all — the makeup re-touches, the makeshift stain removal when you drop a Mickey Bar down the front of your shirt, and even the emergency trips when you’ve had too much dairy. (Trust us, we’ve all been there.) As strange as it may sound, lots of people even have their favorite bathrooms in Disney World. Some are more private, some are cleaner, and some have some pretty great theming. (We’re looking at you, Magic Kingdom Rapunzel Bathrooms. Although Rapunzel does deserve more than a bathroom.) Our reporters ALSO have favorite bathrooms… and they’ll go to great lengths to defend their choices!
We’ll provide a bit of back story. Currently, the bathrooms in the UK Pavilion of EPCOT are closed for construction. Visitors were then instructed to go through the gate between the Canada and UK pavilion and head backstage to use the restroom in the old World Showplace building instead. (Okay, pause. This sounds way too much like we’re setting the scene for a crime documentary. It’s not actually that serious… Or is it?)
When one of our reporters headed backstage, they realized that these bathrooms were actually SUPER nice. They were huge, clean, quiet, and even had some nifty fountains waiting right outside for bottle refills. Plus, our reporter thought that the serene blue of the bathroom’s interior was a nice touch. We MISSED this restroom!
However, another reporter disagreed. The second reporter said that this bathroom couldn’t ever be their favorite because the “outdated” blue bummed them out. They said, “it’s depressing and I hate it.”
This is where you all come in… Which bathroom is YOUR favorite? Our reporters need you to settle their debate. Of course, we have MANY favorites, but we also didn’t realize this was such a controversial topic! We know that many of you (and many of our team members) were excited about the World Nature restrooms reopening, so that’s another option if you don’t want to risk the depressing blue hues in the backstage bathroom.
We’ll continue to keep you all updated with any and all Disney news, controversy included. Make sure to follow along for more!

The bathrooms that were where Splash Mountain was in MK, the bathrooms in The Land pavilion for EPCOT, Sunset Showcase bathrooms in Hollywood Studios and the bathrooms by Dinoland in AK.

Norway or France…. But I’ll take a quiet bathroom over those any day….
When you say outdated, do you mean it had the powdered soap?

My go-to restrooms are in the Norway section of Epcot. Tucked away, quiet, roomy, seldom busy, clean, and themed with Norwegian rosemaling.

Our favorite bathrooms in Epcot are definitely Norway.

The restrooms by Germany at Epcot. Once spent a good hour in there with a couple of dozen other people during a torrential thunderstorm. The water had started creeping across the floor before it quit.
Mixed genders in that Men’s room that day. I suspect it was just as crowded in the Ladies’ room.

I love the bathroom behind the Imagination Pavilion. Not only is there never a line, at most you’ll see 3 of 4 other people over there. And there are several benches outside where you can wait for your friends/family if you’re not using the restroom yourself. Honorary mention to the restrooms to the right of the Amercian Adventure Pavilion because they’re HUGE and before they opened the only restroom in that pavilion was tiny.
