There are TWO holiday parties coming to Disney World in 2023, and tickets for both events go on sale SOON!
In Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning, and over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the NEW Jollywood Nights party will debut. Tickets have already gone on sale for both events for guests who have hotel reservations during the parties, but soon tickets will be available for the general public as well!
Tickets for both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights will go on sale on July 6th. You can purchase tickets via the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app.
Note that both events require separate tickets — a regular Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios park ticket will NOT get you entry into the holiday after-hours parties.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on 25 select nights from November 9th through December 22nd, 2023:
- November: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
- December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
The Magic Kingdom event features special shows like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is another merry highlight of the Party (complete with Santa Claus), as is the Holiday Fireworks spectacular: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. Guests can also get their holiday groove on at dance parties like Club Tinsel, and Disney Junior Jingle Jam.
Access to Magic Kingdom attractions and photo opportunities with characters in their finest holiday garb are also included. And be sure to stop by all of the tasty cookie and cocoa spots offering complimentary snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the party! Select rides also feature festive holiday overlays! These include Space Mountain — Holiday Run and the Jungle Cruise (which will transform into the JINGLE CRUISE!).
NEW in 2023, guests will have a chance to join a Virtual Queue for the new TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland. And everyone can also enjoy the NEW Frozen-themed Cinderella Castle show that’s coming to the party this year! Note that the Cinderella Castle show will also run during the day, so you don’t have to attend the party to see it.
Disney has not yet revealed 2023 pricing for individual dates, but adult ticket prices will range from $159 to $199 per person, and $149 to $189 per child ages 3-9. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party officially begins at 7PM and ends at midnight; however, party guests can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4PM.
Disney Jollywood Nights will take place on ten select nights from November 11th through December 20th, 2023:
- November: 11th,18th, 20th, 27th, 29th
- December: 4th, 6th,16th,18th, 20th
As part of the event, guests can view the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime fireworks and projections spectacular, enjoy exclusive treats, meet rare characters, and more!
Throughout the park, guests will be able to experience unique music and entertainment inspired by different genres. On Commissary Lane, for example, guests can explore a lively Latin Street Fair, while Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will host a live holiday special over at Theater of the Stars with some other Disney special guests (like Princess Tiana and Belle). And Jack Skellington himself will host a special sing-along themed to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at Hyperion Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and a DJ will spin holiday tunes on Hollywood Boulevard.
Meanwhile, look out for two limited-capacity entertainment experiences happening during the event: The Hollywood Brown Derby will transform into a speakeasy-inspired jazz lounge (think singalong piano bar!), and The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard will host an “other-worldly soiree” with a ghostly band (the idea here is that Disney has recreated the Tip Top Club from the Tower of Terror lore)!
Guests will also have access to select rides during the event, including, but not limited to:
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (Star Wars: Rise of Resistance will use a virtual queue during Disney Jollywood Nights.)
And, of course, specialty food and drink items will be available for extra purchase.
Though we await specific prices for each party date, prices will range from $159 to $179 per person.
Disney Jollywood Nights will take place from 8:30PM to 12:30AM. However, ticket holders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 7PM. A Park Pass reservation is not required for ticket holders.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to both holiday parties on select event nights.
