During a Disney day, there are so many things that can go differently than how you planned them.
Rain may change your ride or fireworks plans, your favorite ride could be closed all day, or maybe transportation issues make it harder to get into the park. That last one is happening RIGHT NOW — if you’re headed into the Magic Kingdom, here’s what you need to know.
Right now, the Monorails into Magic Kingdom are CLOSED at the Transportation and Ticket Center and no buses are available to take you into the parks.

This means that your only way into the parks from the TTC is from the Ferryboat. It’s unclear when the Monorail will reopen, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
Typically when the Monorail is down, there are buses taking guests from the TTC to Magic Kingdom to spread out the crowds going to the Ferryboat. However, when we asked Cast Members if the buses were running, they said no.
This makes getting to Magic Kingdom even MORE complicated since you really have only one form of transportation running.
If you don’t want to take the boat, you can walk around the Monorail resorts to get there, but it may take a lot longer than usual. If you are heading to Magic Kingdom from somewhere else right now, we recommend taking a bus from the park or hotel you are at — that way you’ll be dropped off right at the Magic Kingdom gates. As always, be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Monorail news!

Does that mean that the cantankerous

Matthew says
Why didn’t they have the buses there? With the new bill taking affect today, they had to know this would happen?
