EPCOT’s massive transformation is moving right along, and we are HERE for it.

We’ve watched EPCOT change so much just over the past few years, including new lighting on Spaceship Earth (and we are OBSESSED with it), a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster, and several new restaurants. However, we’re also excited about the upcoming Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana attraction, and we just got an important update!
Disney released some NEW photos showing off what the new Cast Member outfits will look like for those who will be working with the new attraction. The outfits are light blue (as in the color of water) with darker blue details. We’re getting that whole water vibe with these!

Of course, Disney doesn’t EVER skimp on details, so there are some Moana-inspired wave details on each sleeve that can be rolled up and buttoned. Otherwise, the sleeve is a dark blue.

We’re so excited to see all these details as the attraction starts really coming together. We’re so excited, too, about all the SHADE it’s bringing to EPCOT, meaning we think this could be one of the more popular attractions in summer at Disney World. Also, we’ve been impressed by that GIANT Te-Fiti we’ve seen sneak peeks of.

Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana opens in the fall of 2023. We’ll let you know when Disney specifies an exact date and keep you updated. We’ll also be there on DAY ONE to take you with us into the attraction for the very first time.
