It’s been a VERY exciting week in Disney World when it comes to food.
A brand new restaurant surprised us and opened early in EPCOT (and we ate a $300 sushi boat with ZERO regrets). The way you book dining on the Disney World website and My Disney Experience app has changed (and we think, it’s for the better). More EPCOT Food and Wine food booths opened, too! PLUS we saw some updates on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s talk about those.
EPCOT
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya
As we mentioned, a new restuarant, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, just opened in EPCOT, which means we got a first look at the menu. This is a sushi restaurant, so the main menu items are sushi. Here’s the Nigiri menu:
The Izakaya Classics menu includes dishes like Maguro Tataki, Chicken Nanban, A5 Wagyyu, and more.
Sushi rolls include a Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Tekka Maki, and a lot more.
Other starters are also on the menu like Edamame, Miso Soup, and Takoyaki.
Chef Specials include Kobore Sushi, Tokyo Negi Roll, Dragon Roll, and a few different Donburi.
From the Grill, you can order Beef Omu-Udon, Yaki-Udon, and Okonomiyaki.
The Sashimi includes Tuna, Salmon, and more.
The Kid’s menu features a “create your own” hand-rolled sushi set or bento box. Desserts include Yuzu Cheesecake, Mango Mousse Cake, and ice cream.
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available.
There are some beer options…
…and a lot of sake options!
There’s also a selection of Japanese spirits and wine.
We’ve already visited Shiki-Sai, so if you’re curious, be sure to read our review.
