If you’ve ever dreamed of working at Walt Disney World — you might just be in luck.
Well, if you’re a college student, that is. Working at Disney World is a dream for so many people, and the Disney College Program helps to make that happen year after year. And, it looks like Disney is preparing to usher in a new class of Cast Members because Disney College Program applications are now open for 2024!
Disney College Program participants get the chance to work in a variety of different roles like attractions, food service, character attendants, and more. It’s a pretty competitive program, and if you or someone you know sounds like a good fit we’ve got some excellent news — Disney College Program applications are open for 2024!
It all started over 40 years ago and ever since has kickstarted the careers of so many lifelong Cast Members and more. “If you’re a college student or recent grad looking to build your resume and start your career in a meaningful way, the Disney College Program is a fantastic option for you to consider,” said Director, Disney Programs & Experiences, Betsy Boston.
“Our participants network with professionals in their industry, develop their skillsets and meet friends from around the world, all while working at one of the world’s most respected and beloved tourism destinations.”
Program participants experience educational workshops and social events “designed to expand their horizons.” There are also special Cast Member perks like access to the Disney parks, attraction previews, and “VoluntEAR” events that help make a difference in the world. Oh, and did we mention you can do it all while earning college credit?
To apply, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in classes or have graduated from an accredited U.S. college, university, or other higher education program within 24 months of applying. If this applies to you, head on over to the Disney College Program site and fill out an application online.
While in the program, participants have the opportunity to live at Flamingo Crossings Village which was recently completed and has access to dining, shopping, and more. If this sounds like something that could be perfect for you, apply now!

It’s important to note that College Credit is by no means guaranteed as it is up to the participant’s individual academic advisors to decide whether elements of participation in the program are eligible for credit.
It’s also worth mentioning that if you enter an international program (such as the Cultural Exchange Program) there are fewer types of role available.
