Fall is an exciting time to indulge in different foods, and a great place to do that is EPCOT!
And… right next to EPCOT. Sure, we all know about the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival where you can snag different small bites from the seasonal booths scattered throughout the park. However, a lesser-known fall food event takes place outside of EPCOT but just nearby — at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel.
The Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic has been a fan-favorite event for Disney adults and food-lovers alike for the past 14 years! This year, the event will take place on November 10th and 11th. Booths and tables line the sidewalks and lounging areas that surround the Swan and Dolphin, and guests have the opportunity to try some new snacks and sips as well as watch some pretty cool chef demonstrations and seminars.
This year, the Swan and Dolphin announced that there would be some NEW menu items to join the Food and Wine Classic lineup. Check them out!
- Red Chile Chicken Taco with avocado, tomatillo, pico de gallo and queso fresco on corn tortillas from Rosa Mexicano
- Smoked American Lamb: Hand crafted lamb, smoked cumin and harissa barbeque sauce, roasted black pepper and date puree and pickled mustard greens from Smokin’ D’s BBQ
- Gorgonzola Cheese-Filled Agnolotti with spiced pear, walnuts, nasturtium and ‘Nduja vinaigrette from Il Mulino
- Tonnarelli Pasta: House-made tonnarelli pasta, steamed baby clams, roasted tomato sauce, Calabrian chili and guanciale from Amare
- Congee: Slow-cooked rice porridge, shrimp dumpling, fried shallot, green onion, garlic, and crispy chili flakes from China Town pop-up
Of course, there will also be some returning favorites, like:
- Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with potato puree, pearl onion, Dijon mustard and cognac sauce from Shula’s Steak House
- Signature Classic Guacamole en Molcajete with fresh tortilla chips and roasted tomato salsa from Rosa Mexicano
- Crispy Cauliflower with sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce shoyu from the Beer Garden
- Dragon Roll: Crispy shrimp, yellowfin tuna, Haas avocado and kewpie mayonnaise from Kimonos
- Baked Ricotta Cheese, carrot two ways, radish, tomato, and pine nut “gremolata” from Il Mulino
We were also told that we can expect to hear from the hotel’s pastry team soon regarding an array of NEW desserts.
We’re so excited about these new and returning dishes. If you’re hoping to check out the event for yourself, you can purchase tickets from the Swan and Dolphin Website. We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney food news, so make sure to follow along for more!
