The holiday season is just around the corner!
Yeah, that may sound like we’re being a bit premature, but when you spend a large portion of your time in Disney World, then you get used to it being all “BAM! November 1st — CHRISTMAS!” And if you’re heading to Disney World for the holidays this year, you’re probably looking to check out ALL the special offerings. That’s why we’ve rounded up a list of all the ride and attraction overlays that have been announced!
Jungle Cruise
First up, we’re starting with a classic! During the holiday season at Magic Kingdom, Jungle Cruise transforms into Jingle Cruise, complete with special decor and boatloads of holly jolly puns. This ride overlay is not only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but also during the daytime as well.
Even the individual boats get holiday-themed names and the queue gets some seasonal jokes and references added as well. If you want to check this one out, you’ll probably want to rope drop it — that line can get long!

Living with the Land
Heading over to EPCOT, we’ve got another ride overlay that’s available all day long — Living with the Land! But even though you can catch this one first thing in the morning, we promise you’ll want to wait until darkness falls to hop in line.
Why? Because from November 24th-December 30th, Living with the Land gets decorated with loads of Christmas lights throughout the greenhouses, along with special holiday decorations. It’s definitely worth the 20-minute ride!
Adventurers Outpost
If you’re visiting Animal Kingdom this holiday season, don’t skip out on meeting Mickey and Minnie at Adventurers Outpost! This year, they’ll be greeting guests in special holiday costumes.
Usually, Mickey and Minnie are dressed in their safari gear at this meet and greet. Currently, it’s also the only place where you can meet them both together in Disney World, so don’t miss out during your trip!
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Heading over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, one of the most popular shows gets a themed overlay for the holiday season. For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will have different songs than it usually does and a new storyline.
The songs are pulled from the short film Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, and Olaf himself usually makes an appearance at the end of the show. It’s a can’t-miss for Frozen fans!
Space Mountain
During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), there is currently one confirmed ride overlay — Space Mountain! Typically for the holiday parties, this ride will get special music and lighting effects.
For the Christmas Party, expect a lot of red and green, along with some rockin’ holiday tunes! This one will only be available for guests who have a ticket to MVMCP though, so you’ll just be riding the regular version during the daytime.
Those are all the holiday overlays that have been announced so far, but we’ll be on the lookout for more to add to that list! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates about holiday season happenings in Disney World!

We live DFB! You provide so much info and answers questions. We are going in November and hav set alarms to get up early to book dining but it’s difficult to get tables for 2! We called and they said oh 2… this has never been an issue in past years. Did something change? Also what’s the best way to get into spaces 220 bar? Thank you!!!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Teesie! I’m not aware of any changes that would prevent you from being able to get a table for two. We usually see more difficulty finding tables for large parties. The best way to get into Space 220 is to have a reservation booked, but you can always stop by there first thing in the morning to see if you can join the walk-up waitlist, but those spots go quickly.
