Disney has announced several price increases today, and now there’s another one that will apply to you if you’re driving to Disney World.
It just got more expensive to park at the Disney World theme parks!
Starting today, the cost to park at any of the four Disney World theme parks has gone up. This includes parking at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s a breakdown of the price increases:
- Standard parking (car or motorcycle): $30 per day — was previously $25 per day
- Preferred parking (car or motorcycle): $45, $50, or $55 per day (pricing is seasonal and varies by date) — was previously $45 to $50 per day
- Oversized vehicle parking (Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus, or Tractor Trailer): $35 per day — was previously $30 per day
Don’t forget that Disney Resort hotel guests receive complimentary overnight self-parking at their hotel in addition to free standard parking at the theme parks! Another group that gets to park for free is Annual Passholders.
If you’re gonna opt into Preferred Parking or use one of the electric vehicle charging stations, you will have to cover those fees; those aren’t included with the free perk of an Annual Pass or a resort stay.

Wow, just keep raising prices.

Disney can point to inflation and increased costs they are experiencing from food supplies, but not with parking. This is just an easy money grab just like when the resorts started charging for parking. It appears that Iger is shifting gears and is now looking for any way possible to drive immediate revenue considering that the financials haven’t been strong for the company. Most recent films have been box office disappointments and Disney+ is having a tough road to profitability. The answer…well the parks are performing well so let’s just charge more for everything.

Could you put dates on your articles please. Did this happen today? Last week? Last year? Next year?
