Ever walked into a gift shop and wondered, “Who is buying this?” Remember that insane crystal Cinderella Castle replica they were selling in Magic Kingdom for $250,000? Or that $15,000 Star Wars artwork available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Yeah, Disney is no stranger to extravagant souvenirs.Â
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Disney goes and releases some wild new product. Sure, we’ve seen 100th Anniversary collaborations with Vans, PEZ, and even Hyundai, but buckle up; we just found a GRAND new Disney product collaboration.Â
If you happened to catch the recent Disney-themed episode of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, you may recognize the thing we’re about to show you. Yep, Disney collaborated with Steinway & Sons to create limited-edition pianos. Disney PIANOS, people. They think of everything!
Imagine jamming out on a grand Mickey Mouse piano. Better yet — imagine playing a Disney classic like “Feed the Birds” on a 100th Anniversary piano. It doesn’t get more Disney than that.
According to Steinway, this incredible creation is programmed with 100 songs “to commemorate a century of Disney storytelling.” Don’t worry, Disney fans, you’ve got plenty of musical numbers to choose from. (If we could get our hands on one of these big boys, we’d be hoping for a little Fantasmic! music… .)
Now, you’re probably wondering, “How much does a giant Steinway X Disney: Mickey Mouse Limited Edition Piano cost?” Unfortunately, pricing for this piano is only available upon request. This is standard for Steinway specialty products, though. They never publish the prices. But hey — if you want to own the coolest Disney100 souvenir EVER, this could be your chance. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
