Are you ready for your next Disney World trip?!
There’s a LOT happening at Disney World in 2024 like the Disney Dining Plan coming back, park hopping returning to normal, new rides, restaurants, and more on the way. So, if you’re planning a trip, we want to make sure you’re not missing out on any hotel perks!
Let’s get right into the hotel benefits that you shouldn’t miss out on!
Resort Activities
A great thing to take advantage of if you’re staying at a Disney Resort is the FREE activities that they offer! Throughout the day, they’ll have different fun things to do like scavenger hunts, crafts, pool parties, trivia challenges, and more.
If you love horses, Tri Circle D Ranch is a great spot to visit to see horses, but you can also take Trail Rides for $55 per person and Carriage Rides for $55, and kiddos can take Pony Rides for $8 per person! Plus, this resort has also offered Wagon Rides and Sleigh Rides.
Oh, and did we mention ARCHERY!? You can learn to shoot a bow and arrow for $45 per person. If that’s not the coolest recreation offering at a Disney World hotel, we don’t know what is.
Early Access to Genie+ Individual Lightning Lane Selections
Genie+ is the paid version of Disney Genie that lets you access the “Lightning Lanes,” more or less giving you shorter wait times at a lot of rides. Considering that time is money, Genie+ could very well be worth the purchase.
While all Disney guests can reserve an Individual Lightning Lane time when the park opens, if you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can access this system beginning at 7AM. This perk will give you a lot more control over your day, since time slots do sell out quickly.
Earlier Access to Advance Dining Reservations
When it comes to making dining reservations in advance, Disney Resort guests can make their bookings 60 days in advance, plus the length of their stay (no longer than 10 days).
Other guests can only make reservations 60 days in advance. It may seem like a small advantage, but it could be the edge you need to snag a hard-to-get reservation!

It is getting confusing. Would love to see DI relaunch a culinary camp for 3-5 days. I would go to improve my cooking skills. cordon Blue culinary school used to offer stand alone classes for non-students. Why could Disney partner with them. I once went to a week long school at Disney/MGM that was run by the New York Film Academy. It was great.
