It’s the holiday season in Disney World, and we’re already celebrating.
Magic Kingdom during the holidays
Of course, it’s hard NOT to celebrate with all the Magic Kingdom holiday decorations around the park, and we keep getting more details about the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. We are SO in the jolly mood. Well, there’s something else to look forward to — if you qualify, that is. Select Disney World visitors will soon be able to get special holiday MagicBand+ designs.
These MagicBand+ designs are exclusively for Disney World Annual Passholders. Disney is introducing SIX festive designs that only Passholders will be able to purchase. We’ve even got a sneak peek at these designs, and you’ll see a candy cane-inspired design, a snowy Mickey design, a Monorail design, and more!

These MagicBand+ designs will be available starting on November 10th through December 30th. You can pick them up at one of two locations:
- Disney Springs: Marketplace Co-Op
- Magic Kingdom: Tomorrowland Launch Depot
Note that if you plan on purchasing the MagicBand+ in Magic Kingdom, you will still need to have a park pass reservation or visit after 2PM, except on Saturdays and Sundays. Keep in mind that depending on your pass, blockout dates might prevent you from entering the park.

To purchase, you will need to show a valid Annual Pass and a valid government-issued ID. So mark those calendars because these MagicBand+ designs might not last for long.

I was just at Magic Kingdom yesterday, and when I went to the Launch Pad, they had the Magic Band available in the “make your own” they were not Magic Band +.
The cast member told me they cannot make Magic Band + there.
Have you heard of anywhere else besides Disney Springs that might have them?
