Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Not only are we trying all the snacks at this after-hours event, but we’re live from the event and will be all evening to keep you updated on all the latest excitement. We’re heading over to Storybook Treats to try their party-exclusive treat — come with us to check it out!
At Storybook Treats you can grab the Sugar Plum Sundae, which is only available for at the party, for $8.29. It’s made of sugar plum soft-serve atop sugar cookie crumbs and topped with whipped cream, crisp pearls, and cotton candy.

The sugar plum soft-serve was an interesting flavor but we enjoyed it! It was fruity and slightly sweet, but there were hints of warm winter spices. The sauce on top was on the tart side, and the chef actually came out and chatted with us for a bit — he let us know it was a cherry sauce.
Y’all don’t know what a sugar plum is either, right? Right?
The cotton candy melted so quickly we almost didn’t get to try it, but we were able to try enough to know that it was your basic, regular cotton candy — nothing to get too excited about. We especially loved the sugar cookie base, it was like a dense chewy cookie that added a fun, crumbly texture.
It was interesting!
We enjoyed this one more than we thought we would, so give it a try if you’re heading to this festive event.
