Here comes Santa Claus!!!
No, really! The holidays have arrived in Disney World. Holiday merchandise is EVERYWHERE. Holiday decorations are up in the parks, including the Christmas trees. The gingerbread displays at Disney World hotels are open. The only thing missing is that jolly old elf, Santa Claus. Well, you’ll soon be able to meet the big guy in Disney World — and you won’t even need a park ticket to do it.
That’s right! Santa Claus is coming to town — or more accurately, Santa Claus is coming to Once Upon A Toy in Disney Springs. However, if you want to meet him, you’ll need to sign up for the virtual queue. Yep, just like a LOT of rides in the parks and Gideon’s Bakehouse, Santa uses a virtual queue. Oh, did we mention that the virtual queue to meet Santa starts on November 10th?
You can request a virtual queue for the following times: 9AM, 11:30AM, 2PM, 4:30PM, or 7PM. To access the virtual queue, open the My Disney Experience app and head to the virtual queue section of the app. Note that you must be in Disney Springs at the time you enter the virtual queue.Â
When your time arrives, head to Once Upon A Toy. Santa will be available at the shop through December 24th, so make sure to see him before then to make sure he knows what you want for Christmas!
We’ll keep an eye out for more holiday activities in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Will you be seeing Santa in Disney Springs? Let us know in the comments!
Janice says
Has Disney springs still got all the Christmas trees that they had before covid, the Christmas trees you walk round & Santa is at the end?
Wendy says
Hi, Janice! Yes, the Christmas Tree Stroll is back now, but it’s different than it was before. Over the past few years, the Christmas Trees have been spread out all around Disney Springs (instead of located to just one area), and it’s more like a scavenger hunt to find them all (though you can pick up maps at Guest Relations if you would like to know exactly where to find them :). Santa is visiting guests at the Once Upon a Toy shop in the Marketplace (instead of at the end of the stroll). I hope that helps :)!
