Disney Springs is gearing up for another exciting year of scavenging… this time with upgrades!
Nightmare Before Christmas Tree
We’ve tried just about every experience, treat, and party at Disney World to ring in the holiday season but there’s one more experience left to check off on our list! Disney Springs has decked the halls with their annual Christmas Tree Stroll and this time they’re making it interactive.
Disney Springs is once again hosting the Christmas Tree Stroll presented by Advent Health now through December 30th, 2023. This year’s stroll features 20 elaborately decorated trees themed after Disney characters, attractions, and recent or upcoming films and is completely FREE to enjoy! Just pick up a locator map at one of the five locations scattered around Disney Springs and get to hunting!

The Christmas Tree Stroll has quickly become an annual tradition found at Disney Springs over the recent years and this year they’re looking to spice things up. Disney Springs has teased new enhancements coming this year’s tree stroll.

Disney Springs shared this post on Instagram about the stroll. The caption reads, “grab your Magicband+ and keep your eyes peeled for a few special surprises on your stroll.” While we’re not quite sure what all that could entail, it does make us eager to find out soon! Check out a tease of how your MagicBand+ may be compatible with some of the trees we found on the Disney Springs website.

Is there a difference between an older magic Band and MagicBand+ that you mention in this article??
Hi, Dale! Yes, the new MagicBands (MagicBand+) have interactive features while the original ones do not… for instance, they light up in different colors during fireworks shows in the parks, but the original MagicBands do not. We’re not exactly sure how the MagicBand+ interacts with the Christmas Trees in the stroll, but the interactive feature will be limited to the newer MagicBand+. I hope that helps a bit, and that you have a fun season!
