Have you ever wanted to live in a Disney community — you know, a place where it’s Disney 24/7 ALL the time.
Well, Disney previously revealed that it’s working on a new Storyliving by Disney residential community called Cotino. The idea is to bring some of the joy from Disney Parks to the place you call home (although, technically, we still call the parks “home”). Disney has previously revealed a few details about the community, but we now have a new look at some of the homes!
Cotino will be the first Storyliving by Disney Community and is located in Rancho Mirage, California. Disney is currently constructing the community and has revealed some of the home designs that will be available there “set against the backdrop of the picturesque San Jacinto mountains.”
Cotino takes inspiration from the Coachella Valley, a place that Walt and Lillian Disney loved. “It seems fitting that Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community, would have a similar setting as the one that Walt loved so much,” said Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline. “Walt enjoyed the Palm Springs area as a creative, rejuvenating retreat and our hope is that it will inspire future homeowners and guests just like it did him.”
The first homes will be built by Shea Homes and feature floorplans that will only be available in Cotino. “From spacious kitchens with walk-in pantries to large dining rooms perfect for family gatherings, the homes in the Cotino community will offer future residents the flexibility to choose an option that works best for them.
There will be four design collections of homes: the Cotino Coachella Collection, Cotino Agrarian Collection, Cotino Oasis Collection, and Cotino Aspiron Collection. “From options reflecting the beauty and agricultural origins of the Coachella Valley and nods to the region’s mid-century modern legacy to more contemporary styles, Walt Disney Imagineering brought a touch of magic to the Cotino community by providing the architectural and aesthetic inspiration for each design collection.”
Disney also revealed more details about its voluntary Artisan Club, where members will be able to dine at an exclusive restaurant, indulge in a variety of sports and activities, and use dedicated swim areas on Cotino Bay, which uses technology to feature “the clearest turquoise waters.” The clubhouse will also be designed to look like the Parr family’s house in Incredibles 2. SO cool.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details about Cotino, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

I bet the HOA standards for that living community will be unbearable. Not to mention out of the price range of most people.
