Located in Frontierland of Magic Kingdom, this quick-service eatery provides visitors with southwestern flavor in the form of tacos, nachos, fajitas, and even bowls. The food here isn’t anything to write home about, but with the right combination of toppings, you can get yourself a pretty hearty and delicious lunch or dinner. However, something has been missing on the menu…
There are no more black beans! On the Pecos Bill menu, every mention of black beans has been replaced with pinto beans.

We asked a Cast Member about the change, and they did confirm that black beans were no longer on the menu. It’s a sad day for black bean fans!

At least there are pinto beans to act as some additional protein. The removal of black beans from the menu follows the removal of other things we loved at the restaurant, like the toppings bar! The bar where you could add your own toppings like lettuce, cheese, and sour cream disappeared and never returned after the pandemic closures.

I love this so much!!!! That is definitely the better tasting bean.
Pecos Bills is by far the most disgusting food in all of WDW. Back in the day it was my favorite. Now it’s a sad depressing version of bad Mexican food. Yuck
Fixing bar? That is never coming back……it’s all about the almighty buck. I have just gotten back from Tokyo disney where with the current exchange rate it cost 54 bucks to get into a park that will remind you of the old magic kingdom where rides don’t break down and lunch is honestly delicious.

Bring back the toppings bar. We no longer eat at Pecos Bill.
Replace it with a Chipotle. They have black beans, food is fresh and gluten free

We miss the old menu of burgers and the AH-MAZ-ING toppings bar!!! Complete with grilled onions!!! It was very similar to Hungry Bear at Disneyland…only better. We HATE Pecos Bills now.
