Okay, hear us out, but have you ever thought about visiting Disney World and staying off-property?
Yeah, we know, a lot of us just want to live in the Disney bubble on our vacation, but at the same time, there are some REALLY nice hotels in the area that might be a better value than a Disney World hotel. There are some great hotels in the Disney Springs area, plus there’s the incredibly luxurious Four Season Orlando. Well, a NEW billion-dollar resort will be opening near Disney World soon, and when you see it, you’ll want to book a stay there.
The new resort is called Evermore Orlando Resort (yes, we LOVE the name — so fantasy-like) and you’ll be able to book a stay there as early as January 1st, 2024. Yep, this hotel is opening SOON. The idea is that the hotel will focus on “combining the comforts of home with the amenities of a premium resort.” Sounds nice, right? Well, we also now have a first look at the new hotel, too.
Even better is that Evermore is close to Disney World — it’s only about a 15-minute drive from Disney World’s Ticket and Transportation Center. You’ll be able to book a variety of rooms, including flats, villas, and even houses with up to 11 bedrooms. Now THAT’s a vacation home, right? According to the recent announcement, “The resort will open with 2,013 bedrooms throughout 69 houses ranging in size from five to eleven bedrooms; 206 four-bedroom flats; and 41 two- and four-bedroom villas.”
Hilton’s luxury Conrad Orlando will also be part of the resort, featuring 433 rooms, including suites and family suites. There’s also a spa and outdoor water garden. You like golf? Well, you’ll find “visually captivating Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses.” There’s also a 20-acre tropical beach complex around an 8-acre bay called Evermore Bay. This place is niiiiiicccce, y’all.
If you’re ready to book with Evermore, reservations are open now for bookings starting on January 1st, 2024. Reservations are also open for Conrad Orlando, which will open on January 9th, 2024.

I can’t imagine the cost for staying versus the Disney deluxe rooms. I have yet to find a “resort” that (1) premium fee for lodging near Disney, (2) significant resort or destination fee (3) parking (4) other “garbage” fees to rake in the $$$.

Just what the area needs . . . .NOT!

I love Walt Disney world it’s fun and I’m a huge Disney fan I think Disney world should build a black panther wakanda forever themed resort hotel right on the beach or something

10000 rooms? Did you mean 2000?

The big question is: Will they have a shuttle to the Disney Parks?

Hi Mark! The resort will open with 2,013 rooms, but there are plans to expand to 10,000 rooms.

Sounds ridiculous! Why would anyone want to stay in that conglomeration of rooms?! And where will they get the employees?! No thanks, not interested!

Definitely won’t be staying here……too expensive! We are in our hotel rooms for less than nine hours a day on average, with 7 of that asleep. We spend as little on our hotel room as possible while being no more than fifteen minutes away with the amenities that we need. We would rather spend those dollars on nice meal experiences and Genie Plus.

It is interesting to read about the Evermore Orlando. Prior to this article, I had already checked into staying there on an upcoming visit to WDW. I had just returned from an early December trip to do MVMCP. I had a bounce back offer of 25% off. So, i booked a 5 night stay, 2 nights at the Yacht Club and 3 nights at the Beach Club. For a stay May 5-10. With the discount, room only for $2400. At the Evermore, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath 1800 Sqft, for the same cost. The resort is close to Epcot and not far from Disney Springs and OKW. I always rent a vehicle. Getting around is not a problem. I am looking at changing my reservation. I will post a review somewhere.

Huge hotels are, for us anyway, a turn-off. Won’t be staying there. . . . Ever.
