Doritos Just Invented Nacho Cheese Booze and We Are Absolutely Terrified

If you thought we already had it all, you were so wrong, my friend.

We just got the crunch canceling software for our headsets, but if we thought there was nothing left for Doritos to give us, we were wildly mistaken. The triangle, cheesy chips brand is a top competitor for our snack cravings. We may eat them gaming, watching football, or making taco salad. But the one thing Doritos knew we all needed was cheese-flavored alcohol. (WHAAATT?)

Ok, so when we introduced you to the Doritos silencer, we gave you a little Disney x Doritos history and we thought you should get some background here, too. (Not that we need an excuse to write about the wild things Doritos is coming out with recently, in our strictly “Disney” blog.) Did you know Doritos were INVENTED in Disneyland?! Yep!! So we have a special place in our Disney-loving hearts for Doritos.

OK, now back to the cheese-flavored alcohol (since that’s what you actually came here for)!

Doritos (aka PepsiCo) has partnered with Empirical Liquors to bring us a Nacho Cheese Vacuum Distilled Spirit! Now you can enjoy your football game with Doritos in one hand and Doritos booze in the other. Talk about living the American dream.

According to the Entrepreneur on Instagram, the liquor will be available online and in select stores in New York and California in January. You can buy a 750ml bottle for just $65! Preorders start Wednesday. Some may say GROSS, while others will soon be living their best cheesy life. (It’s us, we’ll be livin’ that cheesy life!)

You know, we were pretty excited about the crunch silencer, but honestly, we’re not sure how to feel about a nacho cheese-flavored drink. This may have to be something we all try and determine for ourselves. Apparently, it “tastes just like the real thing,” but we have a hard time imagining that.
