As most of you already know by now, some EXCITING updates will go into effect in January, 2024.Â
The Disney Dining Plan will return, all-day park hopping will make a comeback, and of course — park pass reservation requirements will disappear for most visitors. Most visitors meaning… everyone except for Annual Passholders and Cast Members. 😠Yep, Annual Passholders are included in the folks that will still need park pass reservations. Here’s what you should know.
Disney announced earlier in the year that something called “Good to Go Days” would appear in Annual Passholders’ calendar in the Disney World app, the same place that blockout dates appear. These will replace the current Bonus Days (the days the Passholders can make reservations for beyond their reservation limit.) If you have a park reservation for a day that becomes a Good to Go day, your park pass reservation will be “removed” in the sense that it won’t count against your reservation limit, but it’ll still show up in your future plans.
Good to Go dates are dates when Passholders and Cast Members won’t need a park pass reservation and can just show up to the parks. These all begin to appear on Passholders’ calendars starting January 11th. But… what about all the other days?
Well, you’ll still need a reservation. Until 2PM, that is. After 2PM, you can go anywhere you want without a reservation, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays in Magic Kingdom.Â
Many Passholders find this frustrating, and we’re right there with ya. However, the updates are at least a little bit better than before — now that you can do whatcha want after 2PM and now that you’ll have those glorious Good to Go dates to look forward to.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with all things Disney and Passholder news, so make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing.

I think Iger and Co. Should put their heads together and see if they can make the park reservation rules for APs any more complex and confusing.

It’s unfortunate that Disney still does not give annual passholders better benefits. Yet we are treated differently like CAST Met the EMBERS at least they don’t get ” the wonderful MAGNET” as a perk. Big deal!!
Yet if you are the incredi passholders you are ROYALTY. O block out dates ” they get the magnet” also and the same rules do not apply to them. Discrimination maybe???

Annual Passholders still have to make park reservations that is ridiculous we live out of state and then have to do that is unfair that is being very BAIS and acting like annual Passholders r considered less important the money that is paid annuals is off the charts all this happened b cause if good old iger and his lousy job he does running things he thinks annuals don’t spend as much money well I have news for him we have fly there and stay on property for 7 days and spend ALOT of money there for food and all the stuff we buy there and I mean a lot of money he is lousy people thought when he came back he would fix things and all he done is make it worse we will never go to Disney a hai and we have been coming there for over 40 years and live out of state so we have thousands of dollars there and have some times stayed 10 nights we always had a great time there but no more

Iger and his team that makes these decisions to make it harder for Annual pass holders like we don’t matter where does power greedy decisions makers think they have a right to do this to us Passholders we have spent lots money as pass holders they think we don’t matter and haven’t contributed to Disney how dare they treat us like that so we will never do there again they don’t care about any one but theirselves they r destroying Walt Disneys dream they removing the pixie dust and destroying the happiest place on earth they don’t hear the words of this wonderful man named Walt Disney and his creation shame on them
