Things in Disney World are ALWAYS changing, and that’s part of the fun of visiting often.
Rides often change (and even sometimes become all-new rides). Things like the EPCOT transformation are coming to life. We see new restaurants opening while others undergo changes. Well, we’ve got some changes to tell you about at one of Disney World’s most popular character dining experiences.
If you’re planning on eating at Chef Mickey’s, you’ll notice some menu changes for both breakfast and dinner. The Breakfast Buffet offerings have seen some changes. So instead of Waffles and French Toast, you can now dine on Waffles, House-made French Toast, Seasonal Pancakes, and Croissant Beignets. Yep, Croissant Beignets.
Carved Pit Ham and Beef Brisket are now listed as Carved Pit Ham and Andouille, Peppers, and Onions. Wait, are we sensing a New Orleans theme here? First beignets and now Andouille? Okay, Chef Mickey’s, we’re intrigued.
Eggs and Frittatas have been replaced by Steak and Egg Scramble, Omelets, and Tofu Scramble. Okay, Steak and Egg Scramble, we see you. We’re interested…anyone else?
Dinner at Chef Mickey’s also has some changes. Seasonal-inspired Salads have a description change from “with Ranch Dressing” to “with Assorted Dressings.” The following has also been removed from the menu:
- REMOVED: Shrimp and Grits
- REMOVED:Â Roasted Pork
- REMOVED:Â House-made Macaroni & Cheese
However, the following was added:
- ADDED:Â Shrimp Scampi
- ADDED:Â Carved New York Strip Loin and Herb-roasted Turkey
- ADDED:Â Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Chef Mickey’s has continued to surprise us recently — the food has been getting better here every year. We’re looking forward to trying some of these new items (especially the Croissant Beignets), so we’ll be heading over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to check it all out soon. Stay tuned to DFB for a full review!
