A super important date is coming up for The Walt Disney Company.
If you’re a big Disney fan and want to know EVERYTHING about how the company is doing, how Disney+ is doing, how the parks are doing, and more, this date will be important to you, too. Disney has announced the date for its next earnings report and call!
So get your calendars out and mark this date: February 7th. That’s when The Walt Disney Company will discuss its fiscal first quarter 2024 financial results via a live audio webcast at 4:30PM EST.
Not only does Disney reveal their financial status during these calls, but we also often get some pretty big announcements. One that we might expect is more details about the DinoLand, U.S.A. re-theming in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We previously learned that Dinoland would undergo a re-theme to potentially include Encanto and Indiana Jones. We, personally, would love to have a timeline for when that might start happening.
Something else we might learn more about is the bundling of Hulu WITH Disney+, which began to roll out as a beta version in December. This bundle officially goes live in 2024. It’s also likely we’ll hear more about Disney+ profits, as Disney CEO Bob Iger stated in the previous earnings call that he expects Disney+ to make a profit by the end of 2024.
We’ll also likely get some news about upcoming timelines for Disney projects, including Disney Parks expansions and ride additions (a more specific Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening timeline would be nice, but we’re not holding our breath). The earnings report usually includes a list of opening timelines for Disney movies, too.
If you’d like to listen along, you can do so here. We’ll also be covering EVERYTHING from the earnings report and call, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more!
