Disney World snacks can dictate our daily park plans. We go to a park to find, buy, and devour snacks.
You might say “We’re here for the snacks” and it would be totally true. And now that the Disney Dining Plan(DDP) has made a comeback, we’ve been in full snack-searching mode. We have been looking at all the snack offerings all around Disney World (but we’re not snacked out yet!) and we’re on the hunt for that little, pink DDP symbol.
It’s been three years since we last saw the Dining Plan and since then lots of new items have surfaced. So we’re taking you on a hunt of your own for all these 10 new (since the last time we could use the DDP) snacks that count toward the Dining Plan.
There are TONS of new snacks all around Disney World, but not all of them qualify to use the Dining Plan. Before we begin our look at these 10 new snacks that are eligible, let’s take a look at some basic Disney Dining Plan info and how it works.
First of all, there are two types of Dining Plans you can purchase for your trip — the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Standard Dining Plan. Here’s what you get for each of them per day of your visit that you pay for:
- 2 Quick-Service Meals
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
- 1 Quick-Service Meal
- 1 Table-Service Meal
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
You get all the snacks and meals preloaded to your account, so if you’re staying for 4 nights, you could eat all 4 snacks on the first day if you wanted to. When you’re looking for snacks that qualify, be sure to look for the DDP symbol on the menu or indication on the Mobile Order app. Yep, you can use your Disney World app to mobile order snacks and still use the Dining Plan!
Ok, now that you have a solid understanding of the Disney Dining Plan (if you still have questions, check out one of the several links above!), let’s talk about these NEW and AMAZING snacks that you can use your plan for!
Cookie Pies
The Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom has been around for a long time, but we have noticed TONS of new snacks offered here.
There is a huge list of snacks that qualify for the Dining Plan here, but we wanted to highlight a couple of them. First, the cookie pies here are fantastic. There is the Peanut Butter Cookie Pie with M&M’s Candies is large and delicious. It’s a great use of a snack credit if you’re looking for a sweet snack!
Brownie Pie
Also, at the Main Street Confectionery is the Brownie Pie with M&M’s Candies.
This is another delicious and large sweet treat. Fans of brownies and chocolate candies would really enjoy this snack!
Blondie Twix Pie
Another goodie at the Main Street Confectionery is the Blondie Twix Pie!
You’re probably seeing a trend, here. Big, sweet, cookie-style desserts are sort of our go-to. This blondie is so good and definitely worth a snack credit.
Liege Waffle
You can find regular, old liege waffles at Connections Café, but they do not compare to this beauty on the other side at Connections Eatery.
This liege waffle is topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and a chocolate drizzle. It’s like Valentine’s Day every day of the year. We will certainly grab one with a snack credit, and so should you! It’s $5.49, so not the most expensive snack to use a credit on, but totally worth it.
Apple Pie Gelato Shake
If you’re at Connections Eatery, you might as well try the Apple Pie Gelato Shake!
This is $7.49 or one snack credit (and it’s worth the snack credit). Our reporter team gave this a huge thumbs up, so we recommend giving it a try!
Karamell Kuche Flight
To be fair, the Karamell Kuche Flight is not entirely new as a menu offering. However, the flavors are always new!
The Werther’s shop in EPCOT at the Germany pavilion rotates the flavors offered in the flight regularly. So grabbing one of these with a snack credit could be new every time.
Caramel Cookie Dough Treat
And while we’re talking about Karamell Kuche, check out this caramel cookie dough treat that’s offered there.
It’s small, but mighty (and tasty). For $5.29, this is a great way to spend a snack credit. We may be biased, but we don’t think there is a bad option at the Werther’s shop.
Merry Unbirthday Cupcake
Every day except one is your unbirthday, so you should celebrate!
At the Cheshire Café in Magic Kingdom, you can find yourself a celebratory cupcake that is so good. The cupcake is $6.10 out of pocket, so it’s not the best deal you’ll find for a snack credit, but we really like it!
EPCOT Festival Booth Snacks
EPCOT has festivals throughout the year and many of the booths offer treats that are eligible for snack credits.
The 2024 Festival of the Arts is currently ongoing, and we found that the best bang for your credit is this tasty Crazy Chocolate Funnel Cake at the Funnel Cake stand in the American Adventure pavilion. It is $12, so it’s a lot to pay out of pocket for, but it’s a really good snack credit deal!
There are TONS of new options all year long at the festivals that count for the DDP, just watch for those symbols!
We hope you enjoy one (or all) of these snacks! They are delicious and even better now that you can use the Dining Plan to buy them.

LOVE the Blondie Twix Pie. If you haven’t tried it you absolutely should. It’s big enough to share, or bring a ziplock so it will stay fresh for later. SO GOOD!!!!

My son doesn’t like changes so every time we go to Disney he gets the same snacks from the hotel. I’ve been showing him the pictures of all these yummy-looking treats and I think I’ve got him convinced to try some of them!
Thank you for always sharing the beautiful pictures!!
