It may seem early to start thinking about 2025 travel dates when 2024 just started, but trust us, you will want to know this!
Bookings for 2025 at Disney World JUST OPENED, but they opened 3 months earlier than usual. Rest assured, this is a good thing as it can give you more time to plan for your trip and to listen to our warning!
Disney has recently raised ticket prices, so we did some homework to find the cheapest days to visit Disney World in 2025. Based on this info, you may want to change the dates you were planning to travel next year! We’re suggesting August and September as an ideal time for a Disney trip!
Now, we do realize that a lot more goes into the cost of a Disney World vacation beyond ticket prices. But Disney’s ticket prices are based on demand, as are hotel rates and airfare, so it’s a safe bet to assume that your overall vacation will be cheaper if you travel to Disney World while ticket prices are at their lowest.
The Disney calendar is currently showing days from January 2025 to October 2025. Currently, the cheapest ticket is $119 and the most expensive is $164. For reference, in 2024 the cheapest tickets are $109, making it a $10 price increase from 2024.
We noticed that ticket prices start to fall when August rolls around. This is because August marks the end of summer vacation for Americans. August might not have the greatest number of cheapest dates, but it is the most consistent. The calendar shows nine dates with the cheapest price.
Check them out!
- August 19th — $119
- August 20th — $119
- August 20th — $119
- August 21st — $119
- August 22nd — $119
- August 25th — $119
- August 26th — $119
- August 27th — $119
- August 28th — $119
So which month has the greatest number of days with cheap tickets? The answer is September with 13 dates at $119!
Here’s the list!
- September 2nd — $119
- September 3rd — $119
- September 4th — $119
- September 9th — $119
- September 10th — $119
- September 11th — $119
- September 15th — $119

- September 17th — $119
- September 18th — $119
- September 23rd — $119

Disney World Hotel Prices Also Change Based on Demand
We mentioned this above, but let’s delve in a little bit into other costs that will vary based on demand for Disney World.
Hotels are a huge chunk of the overall price tag for a Disney World trip. While you can definitely stay off property (i.e. in a hotel or vacation rental not owned by Disney World) to maximize your savings, a lot of guests prefer to stay in the Disney Bubble for various reasons.
Staying in a Disney World-owned hotel means you can take advantage of those Disney hotel perks like Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours, booking your Individual Lightning Lanes at 7AM (before everyone else), etc. It also means that you’ll have free Disney transportation to the parks at your doorstep (and maybe even be able to walk directly from your hotel room to a theme park), and that you’re surrounded with Disney-quality themeing and service throughout your vacation.
But all of this comes with a hefty price tag. While Disney World does have hotel pricing tiers that vary from $200/night up to well over $2000/night, those aren’t going to be consistent prices throughout the year.
Guests traveling when those ticket prices are lowest are also going to see the best value on hotel rooms. Hotels in Disney World are priced based on demand as well — so August and September are going to see significantly lower per-night room rates than the weeks surrounding Spring Break or the Holiday season.
Additionally, Disney hotel rooms are priced differently based on the day of the week! Hotel rooms will be much more expensive — sometimes even hundreds of dollars more per night — on the weekends. So if you have flexibility in your vacation plans, choose to book Disney World hotels for nights spanning Sunday-Thursday to get the best rates.
But remember, Disney World hotel discounts ARE AVAILABLE! You just have to FIND them! We’ve got a full list of current Disney World hotel discounts for you here.
While we’re on this planning kick, make sure you’re also checking out the variance in those flight costs, Disney World park-hopper ticket add-ons (yep, those cost more when it’s busier, too), and rental car costs.
Take a look and make sure you’re getting the best deal you can for your 2025 Disney World vacation!
