Gen-Z Disney Adults are on to something…
Lately, trends have been running rampant through Disney World, all of which are seemingly inspired by Gen-Z TikToks and similar social media trends. We’ve talked about drinking around the world TikToks, Gen-Z being less likely to consume alcohol, and even the fact that Gen-Z is more likely to be flexible in the way they vacation. Gen-Z isn’t done with Disney World and vacation trends, though, and three things we saw at Disney World this week can prove it!
First, we’ll start over at Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Stanley Cup Souvenirs
If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you’ve probably noticed the fact that Stanley cups are the insulated vessel of choice among the rising generation. Some girls went up to meet the Evil Queen, and they brought their Stanley water bottles with them for her to sign! We noticed that the bottles were covered in signatures of other Disney characters, too, and that might be the best idea we’ve seen in a while.
By having Disney characters sign your water bottle, you’re creating a keepsake that you’ll actually use every day back home! While you’re staying hydrated, you’ll be reminded of your fun Disney vacation and all the characters you met in the parks. One of our editors here at DFB tried it out with a Corkcicle bottle, and the results are gorgeous.
Since that experience, we’ve spotted this trend just about EVERYWHERE in Disney World. It’s spreading fast, and we can totally see why.

Up next, we’re headed to EPCOT!
JELLYCATS!
Jellycat is a London-based brand that makes high-quality plushes that look like animals, plants, foods, random objects, and more. They’re super adorable, and super soft, and super LOVED among Gen-Z, and now you’re probably wondering what Jellycats have to do with Disney World.
Well, you can often find Jellycats AT Disney World! Yep! Sugarboo and Co. is located in Disney Springs and has a pretty impressive variety of Jellycats to choose from. Plus, Sugarboo typically has a booth set up at the EPCOT festivalswhere you can find adorable seasonal Jellycats. Like, that’s one of the best souvenirs ever, in my opinion. Last year, we got a cute butterfly to commemorate the Flower and Garden Festival. There are plenty to choose from at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, too!

Finally, let’s head to Magic Kingdom!
Olivia Rodrigo was at Disney World this week!
Olivia Rodrigo, who became widely known from the Disney Channel, recently visited Disney World! She’s an icon among the Gen-Z and Gen Alpha crew. The actress and songwriter just kicked off her Guts World Tour and made a stop in Orlando along the way. Of course, that included a stop at Disney World ahead of her March 5th show at the Kia Center.
It looks like Olivia spent some time in Magic Kingdom, took a ride on Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom, posed for a photo with her pals and tour mates, and indulged in an iconic Disney World snack — the Mickey pretzel! It’s pretty relatable if you ask us. That seems like a pretty solid Disney World visit!

What age group is Gen-Z? I get them all confused when they just use letters. It was much easier with names like Baby Boomers.
DFB Gigi says
