Disneyland Park is getting a big change!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is replacing Splash Mountain in both Disney World and Disneyland, and we’ve been watching the construction on both coasts for a while now. But along with the updates to the ride, it looks like Disneyland is going to get some new shops!

Disney announced changes to TWO gift shops that are currently in the Critter Country area of the park. First up, a spot called Ray’s Berets (named after the firefly from Princess and the Frog) will be replacing The Briar Patch. Here, you’ll find headwear, apparel, accessories, toys, and more.

In addition to that update, the left-hand side of Pooh Corner will become Louis’ Critter Club. This shop will have apparel, accessories, and home decor featuring “some of your favorite critters” and Princess Tiana. The right-hand side of Pooh Corner will remain for Hundred Acre Wood-themed treats and merchandise.

To make way for these changes, Critter Country will be temporarily closing starting on May 1st, 2024. During these construction updates, Disney plans to work on improving the overall pathways through the area.
