Many of us fly to Disney World, and we know the basics about getting in and around airports, especially Orlando International Airport.

We know that we can make the process a lot easier and more convenient if we have TSA Precheck or if we, at least, use MCO Reserve in Orlando. We know how to keep ourselves entertained if there’s a flight delay (yes, we’re watching Disney+ on our phones). But there is one new hack that we just learned that is going to change EVERYTHING.
So we found this ingenious hack by someone who worked in the flight industry, @durbinmalonster on TikTok. Here’s how it works: The morning of your flight, text yourself your flight number and include your airline code. For example, if you’re flying on American Airlines, you’d text yourself AA and then your flight number. If you don’t know the airline code, a quick Google search will find it for you.

That number will become a clickable link that will take you to a page with ALL your airline information on it. That includes the gate number, what time your flight leaves, the baggage claim carousel, etc. What makes this such a clever hack is that it updates in real time, so if something changes with your flight, you’ll see it from that link. This will keep you from having to look at the display screens at the airport to check things like times, delays, etc. Of course, you should also download your airline’s app to get notified of any issues with your flight, too. What makes it even more useful is that you can text that code/link to whoever is picking you up at the airport so they can stay in the loop with your flight status, too, including any changes. BRILLIANT!

Jessica is correct. This does NOT work on my Android phone.
Suggest this alternative on Android phones:
Open Google app, type in your airline name & flight # (eg, “Southwest 4236”, “American 4321”,etc).
That comes back with all your plane & gate info (via Flightaware).
Hit the share button on the bottom right, then send to yourself (text message or email)
