So, we are always sharing our best tips for visiting Disney World.
We’ve got some tips we’ll always share, like what kind of shoes you need to pack. We’ll also always remind you to budget for those things you might forget to budget for. We’ll even keep you updated on the best restrooms in the parks. But we’ve got a few tips that we just sorta’ forget to tell you about. Sorry about that!
Bring a tray to EPCOT festivals
Okay, so you’re going to be eating a LOT of food at EPCOT festivals (trust us, we know a thing or two about that!). Even if you’re grabbing food just for yourself at each food booth, you might find yourself with too much to carry. Get yourself a small tray that fits in your backpack or day bag and bring it with you.
It can be difficult to find tables during festivals, so this gives you an extra hand if you need to navigate around EPCOT a little to find a place to eat. You can either bring a tray you bought before your trip, or you can often find a festival-themed one at gift shops.

Bringing baggies and plastic containers in our day bag
Sometimes our eyes our bigger than our stomachs, and we need to bring leftover food home from the parks. Or sometimes, we just WANT to bring food home from the parks. That’s why bringing baggies and plastic containers is always a good idea to put in your day bag. You want to take some Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies home with you? Throw them in a plastic container or baggie to keep them fresh!
This is also good for when you have leftovers (that aren’t perishable) and don’t want to throw them away. Nobody likes food waste! Plus if you’ve got kids, you KNOW you’ll have some leftovers, right?
5 Lies Everyone Believes About Packing for Disney World
You can take a shorter trip
Did you know you don’t HAVE to go to Disney World for a full week? You can go for just a few days and still have an amazing time. As long as you plan and prioritize what you want to do, you’ll have a fun vacation that won’t leave you completely exhausted when you’re done (because after a week, you need a vacation AFTER your vacation, right?).
This is also a great solution if a whole week doesn’t fit into your budget. Shorter trips cost less money. Plus, it may even be fun to do shorter trips more often so you can visit your happy place more often. It’s a win-win!
