Surprise! We found something NEW in EPCOT!
We’ve been so busy looking out for clues about the final stages of the EPCOT Transformation that a SECRET new Disney show snuck right in and shocked us ALL! Wait until you see what we found in the World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT.
OK, first, a little background. A brand-new Festival Area is coming SOON to EPCOT. This space will act as the new “home base” for EPCOT’s seasonal Festivals and live events when it opens on June 10th, 2024! Yes, you read that right. It’s opening this June! Look out for CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza in EPCOT’s World Celebration, along with a new Mickey & Friends character meet-and-greet area.
CommuniCore Plaza will be an outdoor space where guests can experience all the EPCOT festivals. It will also include a new area for large-scale concerts or intimate performances that extend out into the nearby gardens.
Up until now, no one seemed to pay much attention to this part of the description: “intimate performances that extend out into the nearby gardens.” But something caught out eye, and now, those words make a whole lot more sense!
On March 31st, we spotted something NEW near one of the new “hero features” (big artistic elements like topiaries and sculptures) in the World Celebration Gardens. At first, we were a little confused. What’s up with this structure? Is it a stage? We checked the My Disney Experience app, but no new entertainment was listed in EPCOT.
From there, we spoke to a Cast Member, who told us that a NEW show is debuting in EPCOT called Forces of Nature. According to a Cast Member, the show will take place at 10:15AM, 11: 15AM, 12:15PM, 1:10,2:10PM, and 3:10PM. Let’s check it out!

The new acrobatic show was about 15 minutes long, and comes from the same company that provides the Art Defying Gravity entertainment during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts! There were five AMAZING acrobatic performers who performed some impressive stunts on a large globe-like stage. We couldn’t look away.
There was music. There was dancing. There were poses we could NEVER do ourselves.
We had so much fun watching this show.
We won’t spoil the story for you, but as the name implies, there was a lot of nature-inspired movement in the show.
As we mentioned, the show is not currently listed on the My Disney Experience app, but Cast Members told us they expect the show to take place daily.
We were SO lucky to catch this new show in EPCOT; come check it out during your next visit! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
