Happy April 1st and happy April Fool’s Day! Pranksters rejoice, today is your day!
Today is always a day filled with pranks, jokes, and funny, fake “announcements” from companies. Just make sure you keep your wits about you. If something sounds too outrageous or too good to be true today…it probably is. We always love seeing what crazy products and ideas companies come up with, and LEGO has NOT disappointed today!
This year, LEGO is taking part in April Fool’s Day with a product “announcement” of HUGE proportions.
Coming in at 102,213 pieces is the newest LEGO set, the Minion named Tim! He stands 2.5 meters tall (or over 8 feet!) and is sure to be the talk of any party. In fact, it is the biggest LEGO set ever made and it will be available…never 😭.
Unfortunately, this LEGO set is just an April Fools prank (for now at least…🤞😂). As much as we may want to spend hours and hours building a Minion-themed LEGO set, we won’t be able to right now. Unless you want to create your own from 102,213 LEGO pieces. We have seen a few episodes of LEGO Masters, so we could probably pull it off, right?
We think Tim could look fantastic in our living room! He would for sure add lots of character, and then you would never feel lonely.
We are looking forward to other April Fool’s Day announcements today! Last year, lots of theme parks participated with fantastic fake announcements. Universal Orlando announced a new show, Human Actors, and Knott’s Berry Farm announced the Berry Band. We can’t wait to see what other announcements are made today!
