If you thought Disney World had fully reopened following the 2020 closures — you would be wrong!
We’ve been patiently waiting for a handful of offerings to return to the parks and hotels, like Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room and even package delivery for folks staying at Disney World hotels. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, 1900 Park Fare is finally reopening on April 10th and we’ve rounded up all the changes you can expect!
1900 Park Fare is reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on April 10th and we can’t wait to see the changes — of which there are plenty! There will be new characters, new menu items, new theming, and more!
Disney released a full look at the menu, so we knew about the return of our beloved strawberry soup and the addition of new items like Tiana’s Gumbo. Some items — like the gumbo — have been added to pay homage to the new characters that will be greeting visitors at this restaurant!
Characters at this refreshed dining experience will include Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel from Encanto, and Tiana in her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. They will all be present to “celebrate the power of a wish” at Wish Makers Enchanted Dining!
At this character buffet during breakfast, adult meals are priced at $54 per person, while children’s meals are priced at $34 each for ages 3-9. Dinner is priced at $66 per adult and $49 per child ages 3 through 9.
You will also be able to use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meals at 1900 Park Fare, and character buffets can be a good use of credits if you were already planning to enjoy one. Reservations are NOW OPEN for 1900 Park Fare! If you’re interested in checking this place out, we recommend trying to get that reservation as SOON as possible.

Laurel Lane says
These characters make absolutely no sense at this hotel restaurant. I was so looking forward to this place re-opening but now I just don’t care. Not interested in those characters and it doesn’t fit the locale. Is there anyone at the Disney Corporation who understands theming and how it works? So, maybe we should have Yeti appear at the Polynesian; it makes just as much sense.

Did they ever say WHY it was closed for such a long time?
