Summer is fast approaching, and that means hot weather, yes, but it also means some popular Magic Kingdom rides are coming back!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom — April 2024
Both the reimagined Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain; same ride system, different themes) are expected to open in Summer 2024, right around when Test Track will be closing for its reimagining. We’ve been watching Tiana’s Bayou Adventure closely, checking out all the details that are developing, and we just noticed a big one pop up!
Over near the gorgeous mural on the right side of the ride (if you’re looking at it from the front), we just spotted a Tiana’s Food sign on the building!
New sign!
This logo is a little different than the other ones we’ve seen on the construction walls and on the ride, but it has the same color scheme that we LOVE.

We love seeing these smaller details come to life because it likely means the larger parts of the ride are just in the installation and testing phases, and that they should hit their Summer 2024 opening timeline.
Tiana’s Foods Water Tower
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a family attraction that takes place right after The Princess and The Frog film. Tiana’s business is thriving and is preparing a Mardi Gras party for the town, but needs our help finding the missing ingredient.

We’ll get to see some of our favorite characters from the film like Tiana, Louie, Lottie, and more, but also meet some new characters in the bayou!

Recently, we got to tour Walt Disney Imagineering where we got a sneak peek at the animatronics in person! We have no words to truly describe how jaw-dropping they are, but let’s just say it’ll be a highlight of the ride when it opens!

We were hoping that Disney would announce the opening date of the ride during their shareholder meeting, but that was one of many announcements that weren’t made. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for more new details, so stay tuned to DFB!
