After spending most of a decade away, a DELICIOUS fan favorite item is coming back to the McDonald’s menu this summer.

McDonald’s has announced that the McCafé OREO Frappé will be joining the chain’s summer menu at participating locations in 2024.
The McCafé OREO Frappé is described by the McDonald’s menu as “A sweet treat made with rich chocolate flavor, a hint of coffee and OREO Cookie Pieces. It’s blended with ice, then hand topped with whipped light cream and a few more OREO Cookie Pieces for good measure.”

The drink was first introduced in 2015 as a “limited time” item on that year’s summer menu. Despite high popularity, the drink disappeared from the chain’s menus for nearly a decade, only reappearing on the spring and summer seasonal menus in 2023. If you missed this sweet little treat, this is GREAT news! We can’t wait for the McCafé OREO Frappé to join the summer menu. Stay tuned for an exact date!
Many McDonald’s fans are hoping that the McCafé OREO Frappé’s 2024 reappearance as a seasonal item for the second year in a row indicates that it may be on its way to finally joining the chain’s list of permanent offerings.
