Disneyland Paris is getting a MASSIVE overhaul.

From a name change to almost doubling the size of the park, Walt Disney Studios over at Disneyland Paris will be seeing a TON of changes over the coming months. With so many changes coming to the park, we’ll also be seeing a TON of new rides and experiences. They will be creating a NEW park entrance, creating new lands, and even seeing some new hotel accommodations. With so many things happening at once there, we want to focus on some of the smaller stuff that is equally as exciting.
There are SO many new things happening at Walt Disney Studios — soon to be known as Disney Adventure World. This massive overhaul will take a while to complete, however, that doesn’t stop us from becoming a little too excited. With so many announcements of what is to come for this park, we wanted to take a moment to zero in on something small in comparison to the massive changes, but SO exciting nonetheless.

In the announcement on Disney Parks Blog about all of the changes coming to the park, they briefly mentioned a few things that will be coming. One of those things is a NEW Tangled ride! Rapunzel has always deserved more than a bathroom, and even though this park is in Paris, we are SO excited to finally see her get the recognition she deserves. Don’t forget! An entire Tangled land is set to open SOON at Tokyo Disney Sea in their new Fantasy Springs expansion. However, we are SO excited to see her represented at other parks as well.

With the announcement of this ride coming to Disney Adventure World, we also got a peek at the concept art — and we have to say, we can’t wait to see this come to life.

This ride is going to be a spinner ride called “Raiponce Tangled Spin,” and it will take you on a spinning adventure through the stunning floating lanterns scene from the movie. You’ll be spinning around on top of some water in a boat, a la Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder. Above you, you’ll find the beautiful floating lanterns gleaming with a backdrop of some beautiful artwork.

This will be a brand new chapter for the theme park, and we are eager to see the impact that these changes will make. This Tangled ride will bring this beautiful moment to life in a way we didn’t think was possible.
We can’t wait to join them to look at the floating lanterns!

Anyone else just see the Teacups ride in boats?
Ok heard me out. Tangled should have a ride. It should be a Maelstrom type ride. They did it with Frozen they can do it again. Can you imagine plunging out of the Snuggly Duckling into the floating lanterns scene.
