This summer is going to be BIG in Disney World; so many amazing things are set to happen.

We’ll finally see the massive EPCOT transformation come to an end with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening in Magic Kingdom. The Country Bears will reopen with a brand new show. Plus a new drone show is coming to Disney Springs — and we now have a first look at this show. We’ll warn you now: you’re going to be AMAZED.
The show is called “Disney Dreams That Soar, presented by AT&T,” and it’s inspired by Disney stories all about flight. The drones are programmed to create designs in the sky while being accompanied by a musical score that will include some of Disney’s most iconic soundtracks and movie quotes.

The show is currently being rehearsed off-site, but Disney has decided to share some images from the show. Disney Show Director Tony Giordano explained, “We are presenting Disney characters who have had a dream of flying. Not just the idea that they can fly, but the idea of taking their lives to the next level,” adding, “We put a lot of thought in making sure that no matter how old you are, or how much of a fan you are, you’re going to see a character that you love.” Below, you can see Peter Pan all lit up with DRONE TECHNOLOGY. How cool is that?!

Star Wars fans will instantly recognize the familiar shape of the Death Star…IN THE SKY!

You’ll even get to see a massive Baymax from Big Hero 6 in his superhero form.

The show will feature a whopping total of 800 drones!!! They’ll be “all working together to create a massive canvas in the night sky.”

Disney even suggested that the best place to watch the show in Disney Springs is along the waterway in the Disney Springs West Side.

The show is just under 10 minutes and there will be two shows every evening this summer from May 24th through September 2nd.
