It’s almost here! Can you believe that it’s almost the start of Halloween in Disney World?
Some people might think starting Halloween in August is a little too early, but you’re not one of them (neither are we)! We’re already feeling the spooky vibes and can’t wait for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom! This special event requires a separate ticket for entry, and this year, it takes place on select nights from August 9th through October 31st. But, we wanted to talk about which are the two BEST party dates! Let’s go!
Before diving right into which two dates we think are the best for you to go, let’s have a look at the full list of all the dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year.
The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will kick off on Friday, August 9th, 2024. Additional parties will take place on select nights through October 31st, 2024.
Here’s the full list of dates:Â
- August – 9th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, and 30th
- September – 2nd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, and 29th
- October – 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 27th, 29th, and 31st
With so many dates to choose from, picking the perfect night can be tricky (but fear not!). Here are the best two nights for you to go (in our humble opinion!):
- October 1st
- We usually see October bring somewhat cooler weather, which makes wearing your costume so much more comfortable.
- While October is the peak season, Tuesday nights generally see the lightest crowds.
- October 31st
- It doesn’t get more Halloween than celebrating on Halloween itself!
- Disney goes all out for Halloween night. You’ll find that everything from the decorations to the shows feels like they’re at their peak. It’s a night unlike the rest.
Alternatively, if you want to go on the cheap, here’s a look at all the dates where Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are priced the CHEAPEST:
- August 13th — $119.00 for Adults; $109.00 for Children (ages 3-9)
- August 16th — $119.00 for Adults; $109.00 for Children (ages 3-9)
- August 20th — $119.00 for Adults; $109.00 for Children (ages 3-9)
- August 23rd — $119.00 for Adults; $109.00 for Children (ages 3-9)
- August 27th — $119.00 for Adults; $109.00 for Children (ages 3-9)
Just so you know, tickets for the party are expected to sell out, which is why we suggest grabbing your tickets ASAP, as soon as you know which night you’d like to go. Also, keep in mind that if you’re considering one of the cheapest days, those can sometimes sell out first since other people are also trying to get the most bang for their buck during their Halloween Disney World trips.
To purchase, you’ll want to head straight to Disney World’s website. Keep in mind that you do NOT need a regular park ticket unless you want to spend the full day in Magic Kingdom or another Disney World park. Otherwise, you can just purchase an after-hours ticket and enter the park as early as 4PM. The event itself takes place from 7PM to midnight. The party is offered on select nights from August 9th through October 31st, 2024.
We’ll definitely be at the first night of the party to bring you all the details, and we will be keeping you updated on all the latest Halloween news until then, too!
