So we’re not always excited when something new comes to Disney Springs (unless it concerns food, then, well, we get VERY excited).
Disney Springs does have live entertainment (we’ve often seen live bands here), not to mention a cool art walk, but other than that, there’s not much to do there at night. But now, a new nighttime show coming to the shopping and dining district — and it’s could change EVERYTHING.
A new nighttime show with drones is coming to Disney Springs. Yes, you’ll be able to see a new FREE nighttime show in Disney World. The show is called “Disney Dreams That Soar” and will feature Disney stories, characters, music, and quotes all about flying. Expect to see Dumbo, the Death Star, Peter Pan, and more!
This show will soon be a “must see” in Disney World, which means it could change your entire plan. The show, which will run from May 24th through September 2nd, is a first of its kind in Disney World, although we’ve seen drone shows in Disneyland Paris. And, again, it’s FREE! So you’ll want to make some time to spend an evening in Disney Springs to catch it. You can catch performances at 9PM and 10:45PM.
That’s right — there will be two shows each evening, meaning you’ll want to head to Disney Spring’s West Side to get a good view of it. This also means that you might see more crowds in Disney Springs at night this summer, so that could also change your evening plans. Also, be sure to make those dining reservations you want before the show if you plan on eating at any of Disney Springs’ table service restaurants.
Each show is about 10 minutes, so grab a snack and a spot near the waterway to view this new nighttime spectacular. We’ll be catching the show, too, so we’ll let you know what to expect.
Stay tuned to DFB for more.

Obviously the only reason they add a show to DS, are the profits must be down in the stores, it’s just a new thing this lot at the top don’t have a clue about, apart from the Disney based stores, some are very high end brands, not sure the typical holiday maker would look to purchase goods there , apart from Disney merch, vineyard vines is in grand Floridian , nuf said !! Uniqlo is ok , but what’s there for normal wage earners, not much I feel. Still not to worry, when you land after a 5-6 hr flight, you can go to a water park for free inc in your ticket 😂

I know this may be too early of a question buuuut, do you happen to know the best spot to be in besides just “the west side” to watch the drone show? Perhaps, have there been any testing that you have seen and is there a good spot to sit/stand to watch?
Thanks for reporting.

Will it be every night during the run of the show?
