There are TONS of shortcuts in Disney World that you might not know about!

From pathways inside the parks to hidden sidewalks that take you around your resort, we’ve learned quite a few of the little shortcuts in Disney World over the years. And today, we’re here to remind you about a sneaky MONORAIL shortcut!
Heading to EPCOT from your hotel? We have a trick that a lot of our followers don’t seem to know about!
EPCOT
Of course, most people know that you can take the Monorail to EPCOT! If you’re staying at a Monorail resort, you’ll want to ride to the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC), then swap over to the EPCOT line to transport you to your final destination.

However, once you arrive at the TTC to swap Monorails, there’s a SHORTCUT to get over to the EPCOT line! Most people will automatically get off the Resort Monorail and turn left to exit out into the TTC, but that’s not the easiest way to go.
Go to the right!
Instead of following the crowd, you can turn to the right! This will take you on a private ramp made to go specifically from the Resort Monorail to the EPCOT Monorail. The pathway goes down a hill, UNDERNEATH the monorail lines, and then back up the other side to drop you off by the EPCOT loading area.

It almost feels strange to take this pathway because it looks kind of like a backstage area, but we promise, it’s totally okay! Disney has signs directing people this way that are often missed because they’re kind of small.
It’s kind of bizarre
This will be a little bit shorter of a distance than exiting the opposite direction and then coming up the main EPCOT Monorail ramp, but mostly, it will cut back on the crowds! Plus, it’s shaded and covered, so it’s a nicer walk when it’s raining.
So much easier!
So the next time you take the Monorail to EPCOT from your hotel, don’t forget to use this pathway! Whenever we share videos of it, people are often confused and wonder if it’s okay for the public to use, so we wanted to clarify and share this tip!
