When you travel to Disney World, how do you get there?
If you’re like most Disney World visitors, you probably choose between either driving and flying. However, we bet the majority of you fly into Orlando International Airport. We also believe a lot of you probably fly into Orlando on Southwest Airlines (and we get it — we fly Southwest a lot, too). If you’re planning a Disney World trip (or any other kind of trip that requires air travel), we’ve got a deal to share with you.
Costco members can often save on Disney gift cards, but did you know they can also save money on Southwest gift cards? In turn, those Southwest gift cards can be used to book flights to Disney World (or anywhere else you might like to go). Right now, Costco has an AMAZING deal where you can get a $500 Southwest gift card for just $429.99. Yep, that’s a savings of $70!
You’ll need to act fast, though — this offer ends TONIGHT, June 23rd, 2024. So grab it while it’s hot! You can redeem the gift card online, at a Southwest ticket counter, or by calling 1-800-I-Fly-SWA. You’re only allowed five gift cards and only ONE transaction per membership, and it is non-refundable.
Of course, if you are traveling to Disney World, you might want to read up on our best tips for navigating Orlando International Airport. You’ll also need to take care of transportation to and from the airport and Disney World. You’ll have a few options to consider: you can rent a car and drive to Disney World, take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or use a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect driven by Sunshine.
You’ll also want to know more about Orlando International Airport for your return trip home. You’ll want to arrive at the Orlando Airport at least three hours before your flight’s departure time (trust us, you’ll need all that extra time). Security lines are often very long at the airport, so if you don’t have TSA PreCheck, consider using the MCO Reserve service that allows you to reserve a time to go through a shorter security line. Don’t worry; it’s FREE.
Of course, flying also comes with its challenges, including delays and cancellations. Be sure you have a way to get notified of any changes by your airline by turning notifications on in the airline app and/or signing up for text updates, if available.
