We may only be halfway through the year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited about the holiday season!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios will all be returning, and we don’t blame you if you’re planning a trip. But, Disney made a ton of announcements, so we’ve rounded them all up for you right here!
Let’s jump right in with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which is returning this year at Magic Kingdom! The party will take place on select nights from November 8th through December 20th and will include tons of festive fun — like the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We do have to share that prices have gone up overall for this event this year, though.
Over at Hollywood Studios, Jollywood Nights is officially coming back! This marks the second year of this new event and we couldn’t be more excited for its return. The event will take place on select nights between November 9th through December 21st and will include special entertainment, festive snacks and drinks, character meet and greets, and lots of Christmas decorations.
And, the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will take place from November 29th through December 30th! Disney announced that the event will include Holiday Kitchens (with lots of tasty seasonal drinks and snacks), holiday storytellers, merchandise, entertainment, and more, all celebrating festive traditions around the world. The Candlelight Processional will also return in 2024.
Disney even shared a sneak peek at a ton of the merchandise coming to the parks and more during this upcoming (okay, okay, we know it’s still a ways away — we’re just excited!) holiday season. We’re ready to deck the halls and ourselves with all the goods!
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the Merry Menagerie of artisan-sculpted winter animal puppets will be back along with the beautiful holiday decor. And don’t forget to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their festive attire!
Also at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the yuletide projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel is making a comeback, and you can catch Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear in their festive attire in Toy Story Land.
Magic Kingdom will once again host the Frozen Holiday Surprise in front of Cinderella Castle, featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the adorable Snowgies.
Plus, the Christmas Tree Stroll is coming back to Disney Springs and Santa Claus will be making appearances there and in the parks as well. Oh, and did we mention the gingerbread houses and decor will be returning to the Disney World hotels, too?! We can’t wait!
In the meantime, we’ll be bringing you all the news you need to know from Disney World and more and updating this post, so make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest updates!
