Are you planning a trip to Disneyland?
We’re sure you’ve been planning to eat some of that infamous Disneyland food that we always go on about (yes, that food is AMAZING). Maybe you’ve made a list of snacks you want to try from corn dogs to churros (SO many churros) to Mickey beignets. Well, we have some bad news about some food in Disneyland: we’ve seen some price increases across the board for a lot of Disneyland restaurants and snacks.
Disneyland
Popcorn at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has also increased. Both the Crait Butter Popped Grains and Kublag Spiced Savory Popped Grains have increased from $7.29 to $7.59.
Have you been wanting to try that delicious Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread from Maurice’s Treats? Well, it’s going to cost you more now. It went up from $7.49 to $7.99. Other food and beverages at Maurice’s have also gone up in price.
We also saw some price increases at Jolly Holiday Bakery. If you’re a fan of the Jolly Holiday Combo (that amazing Toasted Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Basil Soup), it’s gone up from $13.99 to $14.49.
One of our favorite items there, the Matterhorn Macaroon went up from $4.99 to $5.29. You’ll also pay more for several of the other bakery items there.
Other Disneyland restaurants that saw increases include (and note this is not an exhaustive list): Refreshment Corner, Tiana’s Palace, and Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.
Disney California Adventure
That’s right, we’ve seen price increases pretty much across the board, ranging from increases as little as 25 cents up to $2 increases. That includes one of the most popular snacks at Disney California Adventure, Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums, which went from $8 to $8.25.
We also saw price increases at Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus. The Quantum Pretzel (which we LOVE) increased from $12.99 to $13.99, while the Reactor Melt increased from $14.69 to $14.99.
Again, almost every restaurant in Disney California Adventure saw some price increases, including Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, Fillmore’s Taste-In, Hollywood Lounge, Paradise Grill, and Schmoozies. We’ve also seen a few price increases happening at restaurants in Downtown Disney, including Ballast Point.
So keep that in mind if you’ll be visiting Disneyland soon. You might need to budget a little extra for food. Don’t forget, though: if you’re an Anaheim resident, you can get Disneyland tickets for just $69.
