There are a lot of things you need to consider when planning a Disney World trip.
You’ll need to figure out your budget. Then you’ll need to pick your hotel, decide what kind of park ticket to get, and figure out HOW you’re getting to Orlando. Now, the latter is starting to get a lot easier, especially if you plan on flying because Orlando International Airport is getting new nonstop flights all the time. Now, several new nonstop flights have been added to the airport.
According to The Orlando Business Journal, JetBlue has added new nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport, including a seasonal route to and from Portland, Maine that will fly to Orlando three times a week starting October 10th. JetBlue also added a daily year-round flight to Orlando from Manchester, New Hampshire, starting January 23rd, 2025.
JetBlue will also begin flying from Long Island, New York to Orlando starting on October 24th. This will be the first time JetBlue has flown to Orlando from that location. More daily flights to Orlando are also being added to New York’s Buffalo, Albany, and Syracuse airports.
However, once you get to the Orlando Airport, you still need to figure out how to get to Disney World from there. You have several options available, including renting a car, using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or booking a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect driven by Sunshine.
If you’ve never flown into Orlando International Airport, we’ve put together some of our best tips for navigating the airport here.

OMG!! Jet Blue USED to have non stop flights from Portland ME to MCO, but they stopped doing them years ago. I hope these are still running in April 🙏
We had to start driving to Florida because getting my husband on and off an airplane is difficult. Having to do it more than once with connecting flights was just too much. The only other airlines that offer non stop to MCO are either airlines we don’t really trust and others that are too expensive.
So fingers crossed for now!
Thank you for the update!
