Disney Cruise Line has been revealing some BIG news about its newest ship, the Disney Destiny.
The new ship will be sailing to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean during its inaugural season, which starts in November 2025. The ship will have a heroes and villains theme and will have a lot of Marvel spaces, including a Grand Hall inspired by Black Panther. However, there will be a lot of things to see and do on the ship, too, and now Disney has revealed all the entertainment you’ll find onboard the Disney Destiny.
The entertainment includes two Broadway-style entertainment options in the Walt Disney Theatre. You can relive all your favorite moments from Frozen with Frozen, A Musical Spectacular, which is a retelling of the Frozen movie.
You’ll also be able to see Disney Seas the Adventure, an original Disney Cruise Line show with Captain Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and many of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters.
Nighttime entertainment will include the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, a show with a live rock band AND Disney Cruise Line’s fireworks at sea. Yep, pirates AND fireworks!
The Hero Zone is a futuristic sports arena where you and your family can compete in obstacle courses and free-play sports with a theme inspired by The Incredibles.
Bring your mobile phone along for a virtual quest called Disney Uncharted Adventure that takes place ALL over the ship.
Of course, you’ll also be able to see first run Disney, Marvel, and Pixar movies in the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.
You want fun recreational activities? Visit the themed districts of the upper decks, which will have fun water features, quick and casual dining, and places to relax and enjoy some sunshine. You’ll find seven pools in this area, along with a ton of lounge chairs, as well as the AquaMouse attraction at sea.
Kids can enjoy a Toy Story-themed water area with a splash zone, wading pool, waterslide, and smoothie bar.
Adults can chill in the Quiet Cove, a space set aside just for them. It will feature a “luxurious” infinity pool, poolside bar, and cafe.
The ship will also feature dedicated spaces for kids, tweens, and teens, including the Oceaneer’s Club for ages three to 10, which will take your kids on as recruits to be trained by their favorite Avengers. The It’s a Small World nursery will take care of your children aged six months up to three years. Tweens can hang out at Edge, a space for ages 11 to 13. Those from ages 14 to 17 can hang out at Vibe, a space created just for them.
Bookings for the Disney Destiny begin on September 6th for Castaway Club Members and select Disney guests. General booking opens to everyone on September 12th.
