Staying at a Disney World Deluxe Resort comes with a TON of perks.
But if you ask us, one of the best perks is Extended Evening Hours, which allows folks exclusive time in select parks. Right now, folks can visit EPCOT and Magic Kingdom on select nights, but Disney just announced that Extended Evening Hours are coming back to Animal Kingdom!
Disney World offers Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for select guests, giving them extra hours in the parks! Unlike Early Theme Park Hours, Extended Evening Hours are offered only at one park per specific date. Right now, you’ll find this extra perk in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, but Disney just revealed that Extended Evening Hours are coming back to Animal Kingdom!
According to the My Disney Experience app calendar, the first Extended Evening Hours at Animal Kingdom will be on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 6PM to 8PM.
What sort of attractions will be open during these after-hours events? Disney hasn’t confirmed the rides just yet, but these were available during Animal Kingdom in 2023:
- Avatar Flight of Passage
- DINOSAUR
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
- It’s Tough to be a Bug!
- Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost

Not in a long time have we thought the Deluxes had much more perks than Value or Mod and sure not a TON:) especially for the cost difference. But add EEH is a big perk. So when the add AK and possibly HS, will that mean there will now be 4 days during the week where you can do EEH?? Right now the 2 days they have doesn’t motivate me to even consider a deluxe resort.
