Today’s THE DAY! The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has opened and we’re in the park all day — eating and drinking everything, checking out the new merchandise, and MORE!
We wait all year long for this festival and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. And if you’re curious about it all, you’ve come to the right place because we’re bringing you with us as we eat, see, and do everything at the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
Festival Dates
The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival runs through November 23 this year — which means you’ve got plenty of time to eat and drink your way around the world!
That’s plenty of time for you to plan a visit to check out what this festival has to offer.
Good morning from DAY 1 of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! 🍷🧀🌐
Follow along with us to see EVERYTHING (and we MEAN everything) as we take on the Festival today! pic.twitter.com/qdN8C9Jp1h— Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) August 29, 2024
Getting Started
To start your time at the Festival the right way, be sure to pick up a Festival Passport. This has all the food booths and menus, plus info about Emile’s Fromage Montage!

You can also grab a Food & Wine Festival gift card wristlet that you can reload to stay on budget!
Crowds
Crowds were surprisingly low on the morning of opening day! When we headed into the park, there weren’t too many people at the entrance.
What really surprised us was the lack of a line at Creations Shop for the new Food & Wine Festival souvenirs!
It was a pleasant and crowd-free morning.

I was looking forward to the demos and special events… there aren’t any, and I am not going. I’ll enjoy Epcot when there are fewer people, since there is nothing there I can’t learn during a non festival visit.
